The food project was something we did in collaboration with Jessica McCallum's humanities class. This was a poster I made using photoshop and it really shows how far I have become in photoshop. If you scroll down you can see my first projects and really how much I have learned so far this year, and now that the year is ending. This is a fantastic way to finish my digital arts aspect of my Freshman year at AHS.

Short story reflection Questions
Question 1: What makes an engaging book cover?
Answer: An engaging book cover should have suspense. You want your reader to be interested and also hooked and wanting to read your story. You also want to set a mood and have a target interest group. A lot of book buyers look at the cover and judge with the cover, but if it is appealing to a certain audience you will get people to read your work.
Question 2: How and why is art used as a vehicle for communication?
Answer: Art is used for many things, people use it to prove a point, to express feelings, let out emotions and show their creativity. This is something that can be shown through in art. Art is everywhere we look, and its something that we see every day. Peoples expressions being transmitted to the world, and I think that we couldn't possibly live without it. Art also shows through in music which is a form of art, and so is theatre. Peoples ideas can be communicated to us and its something that I guess is very effective.
Question 3: To what extent does a work of art depend on the viewer's point of view?
Answer: To interpret art, you have to have an open mind and be able to accept different ideas and views. Its honestly something that a lot of people struggle with including myself, and I feel that this has hindered my judgement on especially this project while looking at my peer's book covers and judging them on how they look. I feel that everyone needs to have an open mind when you view a piece of artwork or any sort of creative represe
